I have always loved drawing since I was a child but I was doing it as a hobby. We couldn’t afford drawing pens or crayons when I was a child but I always continued to draw. When I got older and got a job I stopped drawing. Once when I came home after work, I found my door open.
The cupboards in the hallway were on the floor, my TV was gone, the drawers were open and empty. I couldn’t move for a few minutes. I was frozen, I was thinking lots of scenarios in my mind. Because this was almost impossible, I was living in a building that had security staff all day long. My door had three different locks in three different places. Also, the safe in my room was gone. It had a six-digit password. I couldn’t believe it when it first happened but I called the cops when I got over the shock. Cops came and did the procedure. They asked me interesting questions that even I didn’t have the answers to. They asked me how the robber or robbers got into the house. I replied that I didn’t have the answers because I wasn’t there when the robbery was going on. After a detailed investigation for five hours, the cops left the house and put me in a hotel for a few days. I was dying of stress in the hotel room, I couldn’t sleep and I couldn’t calm down. Finally, I opened an empty page that I found in the room and I started drawing random things on the paper to calm down. And it worked. I could finally breathe like normal. When I realized that drawing calms me down, I made a decision that I will start to draw again. And I really started drawing again, and this time it was more than just a hobby. I published my drawings and people loved them.
One day when I came home I realized that I got an email that someone wants me to join a competition with my drawing. I couldn’t say no to something like this. Because I had lost all my money when I got robbed. I accepted the deal and I sent my drawing to the competition a few days later. The competition was ending months later. After some time I forgot that I had joined the competition, but months later again I got an email from the same person that said I won the competition and I got the biggest money prize. If someone had told me something like this was going to happen, I would have said that it was impossible. I renewed all my stuff and I put the remaining money to the bank.
