Guilty

Guiltiness is a notion constructed by humans to unfold the behaviours which are unfitting to their own beliefs grown by societies. So societies give all their attention to turn these disruptive behaviours which are against the moral sentiment of a culture into strict rules rooted in a firm belief of dignity which will always give the right decision for the sake of society. However, trying to get a systematic result out of an intangible, alive and developing notion cannot go further than a so-called rule, which is the product of older generations’ morals.

Even though authorities throw light on the importance of rules on maintaining the order in a society,it is clear that there is no way to bury the memory of moral views from the shattered pieces of cultures when declaring someone as a guilty due to a divergence between the attitude and rules. Not only does this divergence make rules disputable but it also makes them a threat against morals of the society, turning them into a stable dogma abstracted from emotions and dignity. For instance, stealing is said to be discordant with law as it damages the public peace but does it really make stealing for a baby who is need of a medicine, otherwise will die, subversive to the order in society? If we dig deeper into this argument,it becomes impossible to deny that holding on to the rules too tight is nothing different from supporting a fabrication devouring the morals of the societies of today.

On the other hand, people who are on the other side of the fence claim that a society can only live up to its expectations and beyond by living with its rules, making no exceptions to anyone. However,it is inevitable to separate the virtues from a society while talking about rules and peace in the public, making every rule bounded to societs’ beliefs of good and evil for guiltiness. When all the facts come to light, they illuminate that rules are not enough for the measure of guiltiness as it requires sentimental judgement, which demolishes all the arguments about rules being the only way to distinguish between good and evil to the ground.

In conclusion, virtues should be the focal point instead of the bare writings on a paper when passing a judgment on a person’s life. Trying to seize evil in a book is nothing  but benefitting on the convenience of apethy. So should we stick up with the rules ignoring the good and evil notions or should we support the beliefs which unifies the every piece in our culture, making us a society-morals?
