Here’s the day I’ve been waiting for, here’s the day of competition when that miracle will happen.This contest was my entrance to Monsters University. Monster University is my childhood dream. I forgot to mention myself; my name is Mike, and I live in the land of monsters. Tomorrow’s competition is the entrance race to the best university in the land of monsters. The competition consists of five stages.The first two are individual, but for the last three stages, you need to create a group for yourself.While stage one measures speed and attention, stage two will measures your intimidation skill.In the last three stages, you are trying to pass the parkour together with your group friends.
There was little time left for the competition, so I took the necklace that I believed would bring me good luck and left the house.I came in front of the university. I stopped and dreamed that I would be a student of this school when I passed through this door next time. I came to the place where the competition will be held, it was very crowded, I’m sure there were many monsters like me who dreamed of this place.While butterflies were flying inside me, the principal took the podium to tell us about the first competition.The first stage was starting.I was very comfortable as I thought it was not difficult for me.It was as I expected, I successfully completed the first two stages.
The hardest part was the last three stages. I had to find myself a group but I didn’t trust anyone here.I don’t want my dreams to be destroyed because of them.When I looked around, everyone had found their own group.Only one member of a group was missing and it will be me.When I saw the group, I realized that my childhood dreams would be crushed.It was impossible for us to win against other groups.Just as I was about to cry, a wet and soft hand touched my shoulder.When I turned around I saw an old, wrinkled monster.He told me that even though we are not a very good team, we can improve what we have.He was really right. I immediately got up and met my friends. Josh, Grandpa Jack and lastly Lucy.In the spare time given to us, I learned what my friends were good at and planned accordingly.I was hoping that everyone could be more active in the competition acording to my plan, and it did. We reached the last stage successfully. In fact, people who seem weak from the outside are not that weak.The last stage was very important for us.We have to cross the tunnel without stepping on the poison traps.I believe we can achieve this if we act together. We crossed the starting line.When the stage started, everything was going very well, everyone was running wile helping each other.But at the end of the tunnel, poisonous traps were everywhere. In order not to make a mistake, we immediately thought of a plan and started to implement it. Just as we were going to cross the tunnel, my lucky necklace fell to the ground. Lucy fell to the ground as we held on tight as I bent down to pick up my necklace.There was a poison trap right next to where she fell. I shouted her “Don’t… don’t budge an inch!”. We immediately got together and lifted her off the ground. Then we completed the stage.
