One day, I woke up and realized that everyone in the entire world was speaking the same language. How did I find out? While watching a live stream of one of my favorite international streamers, I heard them speaking my native tongue. At first, I thought they had simply learned it, but then I noticed other streamers doing the same. It was even on the news.
As I listened, the first question that came to my mind was: Isn’t our language precious to us? Isn’t it a vital part of our culture and national identity? What would happen to the unique identities of other nations? Every country possesses its own distinct language and heritage; if that is compromised, the people will begin to lose their sense of belonging.
Later, the news confirmed my fears: people could not adapt. They were slowly losing their cultural ties. The unity, togetherness, respect, and love that define a society began to disappear. It is incredible that the loss of a language alone could cause such a collapse.
This is why we must protect our language, speak it correctly, and refuse to let it be corrupted. We must never forget our national values.
