Raising an Incapacitated Future

There are some thoughts on teenagers making their own decisions about their lives. Is not it absurd that when we do not give a chance to teenagers to have a life experience and yet, we want them to be perfect adults with no mistakes?

Recent research shows that 65% of teenagers who can make important decisions have very high self-esteem which affects their lifestyle incredibly positive. In addition to that, deciding with their own opinions give them a huge responsibility which is crucial for their future selves. Considering today’s world, every person needs a life experience in order to survive. We should know how to deal with people, how to act in a crisis situation. As a consequence, being able to make their own decisions is important for teenagers.

On the contrary, it is believed that teenagers should have more experience in order not to make any huge mistake. They may decide on something that can have a negative impact on their lives. However, they should gain some experience before getting into real life. Is it possible without making any mistakes and learning from them?

In conclusion, in spite of the negative ideas about teenagers making important decisions, it is an undeniable fact that they should learn from their mistakes and take responsibility in order to be a strong adult.
