A STRANGE DAY

Everything started when that strange light poured in through the window. It was weird and frightening. The light kept changing like morning light, but normally it should have had orange and yellow tones. Instead, it was green. I got scared and looked out of the window. The sky was green instead of blue. There were objects in the air that looked like airplanes, but they clearly weren’t. I rubbed my eyes to check if I was still dreaming and even pinched myself. Unfortunately, I wasn’t. Everything was truly green.

I immediately went outside to get a better look. Before I could recover from the shock, I suddenly felt lighter. My feet were no longer touching the ground — I was flying. I panicked and tried to move, but I felt frozen, as if I were stuck on a thin line. Then I hit my head on something hard, and everything went black.

When I woke up, I found myself in a large, bright room. A girl who looked about twelve years old entered. I was sitting on a couch, and she came closer and spoke calmly: “There’s no need to be afraid. Your world has started to turn green, and we are trying to fix it.”

I was shocked by her words and asked many questions at once: “Where am I? Who are you? How old are you?” The girl looked surprised by my panic, but then a calm smile appeared on her face. “Calm down,” she said. “I know I look twelve, but I’m actually twenty-three. I’m not from your world. You’re in my spaceship. Our scientists accidentally released something onto your planet, and it caused everything to turn green. We sensed a power in you that is different from ordinary humans, which is why we brought you here. Normally, we would have asked for your permission, but you fainted.”

She then took me to meet the scientists. Somehow, I explained where they had made a mistake, and they managed to fix it. Soon, the world returned to its natural colors, and they sent me back home.

As you can imagine, it was a very strange day.
