Colorful Emotions

Hi! I’m Aylin, and I live in a world where you can never hide your emotions because your face changes to the color of your feelings! Let me explain: angry is red, happy is yellow, sad is blue, and disgust is green. Any other emotion is a mix of these colors.

Now let me tell you about something that happened yesterday from my perspective. I woke up very tired, so my face turned a dark blue, and I got ready for school. Nearly everybody’s face was dark blue in the morning because we wake up so early, but some people were perfectly fine!

In the first lesson, some students in the back were speaking very loudly during science class. The teacher warned them multiple times, but they didn’t listen, so she shouted at them really loudly. Her face turned bright red! The students didn’t expect the noise, so their faces became a mix of orange and blue from being scared.

This happens a lot, but at least not in the last lesson. After eight hours of school, we are all tired. Most students don’t even have the energy to cause trouble, and almost everyone becomes a light dark-blue shade. It’s kind of funny.

Well, anyway, at home the only emotion I have is happiness — especially on weekends, when I know I don’t have to wake up at 6 in the morning!
