Article:Meaning of Success

In our English class, we had a discussion about what success really means for students today.

Today, many students have a different perspective on the meaning of success. In the past, people often thought that success meant high grades, a good university, and a high salary. This idea is still important because education can help students build a safe and comfortable future.

However, more students now believe that success is not only about academic and financial success. They think it is also about success, which also has emotional meaning, such as feeling happy, staying mentally healthy, and having good relationships. For example, when students feel too much pressure, they may lose motivation for studying and enjoy life less. This shows that success should include both achievement and well-being.

Another important point is that success can change from person to person. Some students prefer professional jobs, for example, doctors or engineers, while others may prefer creative jobs, such as artists or being a volunteer in their community. Each goal is meaningful and valuable.

In conclusion, success cannot be defined as one thing. It is a mix of reaching goals, but also feeling satisfied and being happy. Students should decide their own meaning of success instead of only following traditional ideas.
