One day, I woke up feeling confused because I usually wake up to my mother shouting for me to get up. When I went downstairs, my parents were talking, but I couldn’t hear what they were saying. At first, I didn’t care, but when they asked me something, I still couldn’t hear it. I tried to explain, but they thought I was joking, so they didn’t take me seriously.
After breakfast, I walked to school. On my way, I suddenly heard a voice saying, “I can’t find any food today. I guess I won’t have breakfast.” It sounded like a beggar, but there was no one around. Then I noticed a hungry-looking dog searching through the trash. I felt very sad, so I gave the dog some of my breakfast.
Then I heard, “Thank you, young lady.”
I was shocked. Could I really hear animals?
I got so scared that I screamed loudly. Thankfully, I woke up. It was a very scary dream.
