Local markets are marketplaces where regional products are sold. They werent just a places where people shoped;they were living things that reflecting the lifestyle and daily life of the region. These markets reflectthe variety ofproducts grown in the region how people how peopl earn their goods,the climate of the region,and it sociel life. Marketplaces sell fuits and vegetables grow in the region, as well as handcrafted items such as carpets, rugs, baskets and cuperwork)ıt describes the lives and culture of the people in that region.  At the same time, marketplaces are experiences where people come togheter. When you solidarity of  products in the market, a bond forms between sellers and buyers, and this contributes to the  solidarity of communities. Presevering local products contributes to the continuation of cultural heritage. Our country is extremely rich in terms of local products; there is a wide variety of products. Our contry is divided into 7 geographical regions. Vegitation and there are diferences among the product varieties; accordingly, our regions and basic products can be briefly grouped as follows: Aegean region: Olives and olive oil, used in various flavors in people’s meals; Black Sea region; Hazelnuts, tea, honey production in the Black sea region; wheat and grains in the Central Anatolian region; and oranges, mandarins, and lemons in the Mediterranean region. All these products contrubute to our health diet.
