The Colorful City

One day, I got out of bed and went to wash my face as usual. But what did I see? Everyone had different colors. At first, I didn’t understand. But later, I realized that they meant our emotions. My mother was green; I guessed she was happy. My father was orange; I guessed he was a little surprised. My cat Luna was very, very happy.

I got dressed and wore my school uniform. Then I saw that the school bus driver was red. I thought he was as angry as a dragon. I wasn’t wrong. He drove so fast that I had a stomach ache. I saw some people with other colors, like purple and pink. I saw a friend at school. He was purple. I asked him about it, and he said he was stressed, so I understood that purple meant stress.

After a very complicated day, I wished tomorrow would be normal. However, it didn’t go as I wanted. Then something popped into my mind. I was going to look in the mirror. To my surprise, I was pink. I felt confident, so I thought it meant confidence. After a year with these emotions, it started to become a common thing.
