I was just sleeping when this happened. I had no idea what was going on, but when I opened my eyes, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was lying on my bed in the middle of the ocean, with no boats around. I was completely alone. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t remember anything about myself—I didn’t even remember my own name.
Just as I was thinking about all this, I saw a ship. I screamed for help as loudly as I could, but no one heard me. I was hungry, but there was no food—only water everywhere. I looked around to find land, but there wasn’t any.
Just as I was about to fall asleep again, I heard a woman shouting a name. It sounded familiar. Yes—it was my name. I jumped out of my bed and swam toward the voice, but I couldn’t find anything. I had almost no energy left.
Then suddenly, someone grabbed me. It was my mom! Yes, it was really her. I was exhausted, but when I saw her, all my fear disappeared. I finally felt safe, and all I wanted to do was sleep.
