May and Ellie were sitting with their Aunt Cherly, watching a talent show on TV. A bunch of foreign contestants were showcasing their talents one by one. There were some very talented participants. May thought, “Why don’t we have a show like this?” she said. “May, are you okay? How are we going to find contestants like that?” asked Ellie to her sister. “I mean, at least everyone has some talent, right? Even if we don’t have crazy talents, we can do it with our neighbors and family in our neighborhood, even if we don’t go on TV,” said May. “Yes, Ellie, that could be a good idea,” said their Aunt Cherly. “Okay then, I’ll prepare the invitations. And we need judges,” Ellie said. “That’s easy, the three of us can be the judges.” said May. 1 month later girls finally organized the show. Ellie drew and wrote beautiful invitations. “Look May! I got so many participants that will join our talent show! A bunch of people accepted the invitation.” screamed Ellie loudly. “Really? Who is coming?” asked May to her sister. “From our neighbors, Ms. Green and Mr. Green, Ms. Charlotte and Mr. Bel, Asther, Oakley and Oaklyn, Ms. and Mr. Brown, and lastley our english teacher Ms. Gizem. From our family, cousin Ej and Elizabeth, uncle Josh, aunt Hayley and uncle Mark is coming!” said Ellie happily. “Wow! What a lot of people! Our talent show is going to be great!”
27th of April, Sunday
“May? Are you ready? We gotta go! Talent show is starting in 10 minutes!” said Aunt Cherly. ” Ok, ok let’s go, im ready.” said May. “I cant wait to be a jury!” said Ellie. It has been 12:55, they can now see the talents in 5 minutes. “Our Talent Show is starting!” shouted May. First contestents was Ms. and Mr. Green. “Hello, today me and my precious husband is going to do tango.” said Ms. Green and opened the music. They started to dance. “Oh wow so that is a thing!” May whispered. “Bravo, bravo Ms. and Mr. Green. You guys were awesome. Thank you for coming!” said Aunt Cherly. All of the contestants was wonderful. Charlotte made a magic show, Oakley and Oaklyn made acrobaty, Ms. and Mr. Brown baked a delicious cake in 5 minutes, even Asther opened a olive jar with his toes! ” Wow! You guys were all awesome. But there is only one winner…” said Aunt Cherly. “Give us time to decide who wins.” Contestants were all so excited and nervous. They couldnt wait! “So, this was a hard choise but we have a decision. Ellie and May, be ready to press the golden buzzer. The winner is…” Everyone was very excited. There was a huge silence. “The winner is, Ms. Gizem with her knowlegde about english!” Everyone claped and shouted for Ms. Gizem. May and Ellie pressed the golden buzzer. There were all confetties and stuff. “Ms. Gizem! Ms. Gizem! Ms. Gizem!” Ms. Gizem was popular now. ” Good job Ms. Gizem! ” said May and Ellie. “Thank you sweethearts!” said Ms. Gizem. It was a really good day. The end.
