Managing Time

Time is one of the most important aspects of life. We often say, “I’ll do this tomorrow” or “in an hour,” but the truth is, we can’t control time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. While not everything depends on time, most things are shaped by it.

Even though time isn’t everything, time management is crucial. Not everyone knows how to manage their time effectively, and worse, some people don’t even care about it. While some make their best effort to control their time by using calendars or practicing self-discipline, others neglect it entirely.

Many scientists believe that having strong time management skills can significantly help people study better and achieve higher grades. On the other hand, some people prefer to “go with the flow,” believing it’s the best approach. However, they often lack self-control and don’t realize that without it, their approach might not work.

The key to self-control lies in time management. For example, when you start controlling your time—like limiting your screen time—you naturally begin using your phone less, which leads to better self-discipline.

In the end, those who cannot manage their time will inevitably be managed by it.
