If I were to choose whether to stop time or travel to a time period of my choice, I definetly would have chosen to travel to a time period of my choice. Because I think that traveling to a different time period could be very helpful and benefitial to humanity. Stopping time could be helpful too, for example right before a disaster happened ,that could potentially harm people, authorities could stop time and prevent it from happenning but stopping time could go very wrong very fast in the wrong hands and also it wouldn’t be as helpful as time traveling.
If we could time travel, I think the most important thing to do would be to travel to the future and see what our world has become, come back to our timeline and fix the things that will go wrong in the future. For example right now we have many global problems such as global warming, water shortages, drought etc. but people don’t really understand the seriousness and importance of these problems because they are not seeing the outcomes right now but if we could time travel to the future and show people what our World would be if they didn’t stop not caring and not understanding the importance of these problems. This would definetly help us build a much more sustainable world for the future generations. Time traveling could also make us go to the past and reveal many mysteries humankind has wondered for years. It could reveal the truth about controversial topics about history or we could even go back millions of years ago and help us understand evolution and end the religion-evolution conflicts altogether. Also understanding our past can help us get a greater perspective on human life and society. There is one dangerous disadvantage about time travelling and that is if it got on the wrong hands. Time travelling would be a delicate thing, changing the past our the future could create big differencesin our timeline but it wouldn’t be too hard the prevent this so I don’t think this would be a big problem.
So I think time travelling would be so much better than stopping time. We could geniunely create a better world for ourselves and for future generations. We would understand our past and we would improve ourselves as humans. Long story short, travelling to a time period of our choice could potentially make our world a better place.
