The Best Books and Perspectives

Books, the written version of peoples thoughts and stories. We can see them in every stage of our life cycle after we learn how to read. There are approximately 130 million of them. The books main aim is to develop people’s mentality and imagination; increase vocabulary and provide people with information and knowledge. Despite all other books, same of them can influence readers more than other books and even can change the readers perspective. And there may be some question marks in our heads after this: ” Does a book has to change readers perspective to be one of the best books?”

Reading books is one of the best ways to feed our brain. We gain too much imformation from them and reading books is one of the best ways to decrease stress levels. But some books can change the way we look at life too. Eventhough they change your perspective, not all of the perspective changer books should be considered as one of the best books of all time. Thats because each reader comes from a different background and the same books can effect a reader differently than another one because of this situation. The book may strengthen readers’ current perspectives or may not be interesting to them. Therefore, we can say that books effects may differ from one reader to another. Another example is that the purpose of books is not only to change a readers point of view, books are sometimes read for entertainment, for gaining information or simply as a relaxing activity. A lot of people read book to relax and to get rid of the difficulties of life, to be alone with himself and to run away from the stressfull life of theirselves.

As result, the books may change peoples perspectives, its not a bad thing. But changing peoples perspective does not make a book ” the best” , and a book does not have change someones perspective. Books have many other features tahn just changing perspective. And a book may change someones perspective but not the other reader. So the statement ‘a good book has the power to change the reader’s perspective’ may be true for some people and situations, it may not always be valid.
