Being Able To Stop Time Or Travelling To A Time Period?

Would you rather be able to stop time or be able to travel to a time period of your liking? Before giving my answer, I must clarify what I would be able to do with them since the question is pretty vague and time is really complicated when you look into it. First of all, I will take being able to stop time as being able to stop it and continue whenever you want. Now for the more complicated one, I will take being able to travel to a time period as only being able to do it a few times and returning to normal time whenever you want. That is because if you were able to do it infinitely you could technically be able to stop time by just going back one second every second assuming you would be standing in the same place when you travel. With all of that out of the way I can finally give my answer.

My answer is, being able to stop time. That is because I can change the current much easier rather than having to deal with the butterfly effect always giving way different outcomes. What would I do stopping time? Having infinite time to do my work would bring me lots of free time to do anything which would be the best gift for anyone if used right. But stopping time also has insane chaotic possibilities other than doing homeworks last second. What I am talking about is coups. That would create so much chaos which also tells us something important I would like to explain by quoting Spiderman,

as he says. Anyone having this power would be immediately a worldwide threat to everyone else directly and indirectly.
