One Book One Perspective?

Since childhood, we have a pressure on us about reading books. Our teachers and our faimily force us to read books. Even in school, we enter various exams about the books we read. They give homeworks about them and they argue with you if don’t read. Our fa*mily take us to the library to look at books and read them if we are interested. But what is the main purpose of their actions? Is reading book that much important and is it going to shape our life?

If we would look basically, in most books we have a scenery going on and there is a message that reader should recieve at the end, which are mostly about caring people around you and being respectfull to the environment. In my opinion we as a citizen in this world should understand the main issues around us and take action to solve them . Books are showing us how to react in various issues (such as climate change). This books are the ones we read to learn. But how about the others?

There are some books that can change our perspective on life. Since childhood, we read books which has a message at the end and in my opinion they have effect on us about how to act in society. But when we grow up, we start reading books that point out a major perspective. Some of these books are Animal Farm, What does a human live with and a chrismas carol. I read these books and they especially reminded me how to think and be aware of the oppourtinites we have.

In my opinion all of the books we read has an effect on our perspective, but I didn’t read a major one that could effect my whole point of view.
