When people lose their emotional bonds

I woke up to my alarm clock at 8:00, i didnt think there was anything off until i whent down for breakfast where my mom was. The strange thing was that i normally feel very happy when i see my mom but now i just dont care hat my moms there., even more peculiar is when i come down to breakfast, my mom at least says good morning but today she didnt even look up not that i minded. I ate my brakefast and got redy for school. I normally walk to school with my friends, but today i didnt really care so istarted walking without whaiting for my friends.

As i approced the gates of my school i noticed that the security usually there to say good morning wasnt there as i enterd the school i saw the guard in his room looking at his phone. I enterd the classroom and sat on my desk, after a few minutes the teacher came in, sat on her chair and said “You can do whatever you whant to day” wich she never does. Normally when we get a empty lesson whe talk and enjoy ourselfes, but today nobody was talking to each other. As the day progressed in all the lessons where free and nobody in the school was talking to each other. There was 10 minutes left for the school when it happend. There was giant explosion nearby i looked out of the window and saw a building, half destroyed and on fire with what looked like a fighter jet going past it. I was apparently not the only one who saw it because most of the people in the classoom gasped, i though hard, decided to save myself and ran out of the classroom. As i ran dow the hall i felt another explosion and understood what was happening. Our emotional bonds had been whiped and naturally because nobady cares about anyone all the countrys had gone to war. As i ran i could feel the ground saking and my classmates runnig behind me as i reached the gate i looked up and frose in horror because a helicopter had just dropped what was undeniyably a nuclear bomb. As it fell down i realised the importance of emotional bonds and what would happen if they dissapeerd.
