It is an exceptional experience to watch a Chistopher Nolan movie. Interstellar is no exception. The plot follows Joseph Cooper and his crew as they embark on an interstellar journey to save humanity from their decaying world. The story, despite having an unapologetic fantasy to it, touches on some very real and relatable human experiences; like loss, deception, love, hopelessness, hope and the thrill of discovery.
The impeccable acting, coupled by the direction of Nolan, creates an almost eery realness where you will be drawn further in the more you look into the meanings behind each scene. It is also worth noting that the special effects were groundbreaking for their time. Specifically, the scene showcasing a black hole stands out with the extensive scientific effort spent to create it realistically.
Interstellar is truly a life changing movie with its emotional and mental impact. I can go as far as to say it is life changing. It is definitely a bucket-list movie for anyone interested in science.
