I’ve written this report per the request of the administration with the aim of providing feedback on how the improvements in technology affects education while relying on the data I have collected from the interviews I have done at my school.
Positive-Aspects:
Technology certainly comes with many advantages and the major ones according to my teachers is how accessible it makes information. They have stated they rely on technology such as smart boards and web sites like office 360 and wikipedia to prepare and present study material for lessons. My peers highlighted how attractive these make the lessons
Negative-Aspects:
Despite this a majority still believes that technology in classrooms could prove itself as a distraction for students and decrease the time they can stay focused further than it already is.
Suggestions:
Overall technology is an efficient teaching method but I would suggest for our teachers to make sure to not make it so that the lecture item is distracting us students.
