Education With Its Rights and Wrongs

Education is many things. It is our milestones where we have our firsts. It is where we learn but are we learning the right things or reaching the right milestones? That is a question that is bothering many.

Education is a long journey. It takes years and we spend more time at school than any where else. With such a long journey of learning some information that we have gained seem to have no importance in our lives. We learn the Phytagoras theorem and the evolution but not how to pay our bills or make radical decisions. So the question comes in here: is learning the Phtyagoras theorem or how to pay our bills more important?

The mixed information we learn at school might not seem important but that’s what leads us to have jobs. Yes, an engineer won’t be using their knowledge on biology on their work but you can’t know for a fact what someone is going to be at the age education starts. The access knowledge might seem like a waste but that is what leads us to who we are and what we finally learn at the end.

School lacks in teaching about life as calculus doesn’t communicate with the cashiers, your social skills do. The other big question comes in now: can life be thought? For me the answer is no. Life is an experience that everyone should figure out on their own. Yes, a little bit of the essantial knowledge on life could be added to the ciriculum but I think learning science, history etc… makes you who you are and shapes you. The information you don’t think is as useful might be affecting your life in ways you don’t know.
