Sweet Words To Pay!

One day, I woke up and saw that my friend was talking so sweetly to the cashier, and then she bought what she wanted to buy. Of course, I was surprised when I saw that.

Later, I went to a mall—the biggest mall in our city—and walked into a shop. I forgot that I needed to be sweet in order to pay, so I handed the worker the paper money directly. The worker said, “Uh, I’m sorry, but we don’t use that kind of money for payment anymore.”

Then I remembered that I was supposed to use sweet words to pay. So I started to compliment the worker. I said, “Your hair is awesome! How did you make it look this beautiful this morning?”

The worker replied, “Aww, you’re so sweet! Thanks for the compliment. And besides, you’ve already paid.”

After that, I met a new friend in LA—she was from Texas! She was really sweet.

Then I went to a meeting with the president, and they asked me, “Who do you think would be the richest if we all used sweet words to pay in life?”

I said, “My friend Salish,” and she won the prize for being the sweetest!
