I was glad for waking up again, I said with joys. Nobody knew if it was possible for this to happen or not, nor did I. Suddenly, an unimaginable thing happened to me.
Firstly, I woke up as I always do. I got ready to head off for a quick walk in the town to relax my mind after pulling an all nighter on a project that I was responsible of, you know, school stuff. We live in the same town as my closest friends. It wasn’t too early so I thought I could pass through where they live just in case I would be able to see them. Well, it’s not a big town after all so everyone knows each other. However, suddenly I heard a voice I wasn’t familiar, nor I have ever heard it. I decided to look behind in case someone was calling me, however no one was there. I didn’t mind it at first because I thought I was hearing anonymous due to staying up so late at night, until the voice didn’t stop. I looked back again, still no sign of anyone except a bird that had been flying over me for the past half an hour. Suddenly, the bird landed on me, I immediately noticed something was off. who would have thought that the voice was coming from the bird that had been trying to communicate with me? I was speechless. Hıw could something this odd could have happened to me?
The bird wondered if I was alright. I was shocked, what a thoughtful bird I said to myself. It seemed like the bird could hear me as well so I decided to reply to the bird and tell how I felt. After less then five minutes the bird left me and continued to it’s destination to literally nowhere. I headed my back to my friends just to find out that they still haven’t left their house. Therefore, I decided to take stroll down the town instead of disturbing my friends. I encountered another animal, again, however, this time it was a cat.
The way I could finally communicate with animals of the times where I always believed that humans and animals could communicate with each other somehow. I thought and thought even deeper to remember those questions I tried to ask the animals but couldn’t get a reply. Well, suddenly, the questions flashed through my eyes from all those years ago. I kneeled and called the cat next to me. “Do you ever think about daily lives just like people do?” I asked. “Well, here’s the thing. Even though we are capable of thinking like normal human beings, we don’t think all the time, we don’t busy our minds with thoughts every time. For example, we communicate in our very own way, we care each other or even show emotions depending on our thoughts.” Replied the cat. I thanked, then petted the cat and farewelled it.
It started getting late when I went back home, around 5 p.m. I was so into this matter that I forgot to phone my friends. I quickly called them and told them about today after apologizing for not replying their calls, however, I didn’t tell them about the communication thing with animals, just in case they think I was cursed. I wouldn’t want to end a precious friendship just because I had the chance to communicate with animals.
It was monday again, so I had to go to school. At least my friends would be there to, luckily. On the way to school, I stumbled upon the same cat, however this time, there was know more communication, just a bit of purring and meowing. Now that I wonder, did anyone see me talking with the animals? Well I hope not. Although I was worried if anyone would see me, it was a good experience, hopefully not a dream. Today I’m well rested after all the work I’ve done yesterday.
