One day, I woke up and realized I could hear people’s inner voices.
At first, I thought it was a joke, but when I went to school, I realized it wasn’t. I told my best friend about it, but she didn’t care and didn’t listen to me.
Then I talked to the school counselor because I thought she might be the only one who could understand me. After that, I went to class and asked my friends to think of something silently. I tried to guess what they were saying in their minds — and I got it right! Now everyone knew about my power.
When I went home, I wanted to tell my parents about it. At first, they didn’t believe me, but when I did the same thing to them, they were shocked!
The next morning, when I woke up, my power was gone. But that’s okay — I still had the best day in the world, and now I know everyone’s secrets! I’m actually really happy about it.
