Technology is getting better every single day, and we can’t even function properly without it nowadays. That’s why we discussed technologies in social life in our English class.
Technology is made for us to benefit from it, whether it is an immense or a minor improvement in our daily lives, and while technology has improved our social life substantially, it has also come back to us with some downsides. The comments that I have gotten from my classmates about this topic have given me some examples on how technology is affecting us in a bad way, for example some say that even though they have lots of friends on social media they aren’t really sincere and while we can meet nice people on the internet there are lots of predators a word close in meaning to a catfish. Catfishes are people who hide their real identity and trick or lure people into the things they want them to do, so this is a big reason why we shouldn’t trust people on social media.
While there are certain dangers we could encounter in our social life from technology, most comments I’ve gotten from my classmates are positive. Some say that they can connect with people far or near them with ease, and some say that they have made genuine friends on social media.
These comments go to show that technology hasn’t affected us mostly bad, and I myself think that it has gotten us closer and closer to each other.
