As we know, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used everywhere in our lives, so much so that sometimes we can’t even do something without artificial intelligence, like ChatGPT. In the end, everyone started to think that artificial intelligence would take our jobs one day, which is a high possibility. Lately, I have heard about people talking about artificial intelligence being used in schools, since nowadays even teachers have started to use it. So, I’m going to talk about the cons and pros of artificial intelligence being used in schools.
Let’s start with the pros of using ChatGPT in schools. First of all, artificial intelligence has been improving for the last few years. I’m sure that artificial intelligence will be used in schools if it keeps improving like that, and we’re already using it, so we’ve already taken our first step. Now, about the artificial intelligence teaching in schools. A. teacher, only knows about one subject, while artificial knows almost everything, so it can be used for all subjects at the same time.
However, there are still disadvantages to an artificial intelligence being used as a teacher to teach in school. As we know, robots can’t feel, not even a little bit. So, if a child is struggling with mental health, it won’t be able to help as much as a human can, or if a kid is being bullied, the artificial intelligence might not be able to help as much as a human can. Second of the disadvantages is that people don’t trust the artificial intelligence much, one of the reasons is the belief about artificial intelligence taking ıver the world, the other reason is that artificial intelligence can sometimes end up giving the wrong information about something, a topic, anything. Third and the last reason is that artificial intelligence is polluting clean waters to cool down their machines, since we don’t have enough resources, people have the right to not use artificial intelligence.
In conclusion, artificial intelligence shouldn’t be used for teaching; it should be used to help teachers in the near future.
