Firstly,when we look at the negative impacts of social media,there are a lot of things.Social media causes a race among young people.Because,people can share whatever they want in social media and teenagers usually share things about their money,cars,brands or their life standards in social media.Thus,when the other teenagers see their friends posts or stories,they want to share something similar to other’s social media posts and this secret race never finishes as both sides continue to sharing things on social media.Moreover,social media has a lot of users and no one knows each other.This leads to a big problem because there a lot of dangerous people whose goal is to finding or meeting with children or teenagers from social media or to take some pictures of the children or teenagers.For these things,social media has no control system or prohibition.As a result of this,there are a lot of victims or a lot of people that survives with this just because of these dangerous people on social media.When we look at positive sides of the social media,there a lot of things too.Social media allows people and teenagers to see what they do or where they are.This allows people and teenagers to be in interaction with each other and to improve their friendships.Furthermore,social media contains a lot of beneficial contents that are about any topics related to real life like future,past,health,technology…Even a uneducated person or teenager can learn a lot of things about life and become a resourceful person.From this view,social media is able to direct people in a lot of ways.
In conclusion,social media has a lot of good and bad effects on people and teenagers.Also,whether social media is useful or not depends on how people use it.And by making some improvements and prohibitions,social media would be a really important platform.
