Word RAIN

It was a quiet night. We were at home. The kids had school the next day, and I had to go to work.

Suddenly, a piece of news appeared on the TV. It said that schools would be closed tomorrow because of word rain.

The kids cheered with joy.

I felt sad because I still had to go to work under the word rain.

If you don’t know what word rain is, it’s what we call it when words start falling from the sky. Some of them heal us, and some of them cause damage. Thankfully, scientists have invented a new kind of umbrella to protect us from harmful words.

The next morning, I ate breakfast and started walking to my job. Outside, it was a disaster. Harmful words were opening craters in the ground, while healing ones were filling those craters. Every building had an umbrella on top of it so the damaging words couldn’t reach inside, including my workplace.

After my work was finished, I went back home. At home, the children were dancing. We ate a peaceful dinner together and then went to sleep.
