In today’s world, artificial intelligence has become inevitable and is used in almost every aspect of our lives. From the app content we use in our phones to restaurant menus, from smart boards in our schools to even healthcare like surgeries, is it right to make artificial intelligence a part of our lives that we use so much in almost every aspect of our lives? There are some advantages and disadvantages for this question.
Firstly, AI can be a very helpful and learning tool. It can make even the most complex topic understandable in seconds and explain it with multiple examples. This aspect of AI is not only very useful, but it also saves a considerable amount of time.
On the other hand, leaving tasks and assignments to the last minute with the assumption that AI will do them and completing them just for the sake of doing them eventually leads to learning difficulties and problems. Furthermore, leaving all the work to AI causes us to gradually lose important values such as practical and critical thinking, researching abilities and idea generation.
In my opinion, if students use AI for beneficial purpose such as learning and saving time it is quite useful, but if they use it with a let’s just get it over with mentality, in a way that hinders their learning and provides no benefit, it will affect negatively to their education.
In a nutshell, the key is to balance. When used correctly, this artificial intelligence, which rivals the human brain, has countless benefits, but if misused and relied upon too much it can be dangerous.
