When I gaze into a mirror, I see primarily my appearance. However, if the mirror could show me my character instead of my appearance, it would be much more interesting since I would be able to gauge who I truly am. If I were a kind, honest, and helpful person, my reflection in the mirror would look bright and beautiful. However, if I were rude to someone or told a lie to someone, my reflection might look darker or sad.
If I had a mirror like that, I would consider my actions much more than I do now. Each time I did something good, my reflection would look nicer. For instance, if I shared my homework with my friend or shared something with my friend, my reflection might sparkle brighter. However, if I hurt someone’s feelings, my reflection might look weak or dull.
I believe this type of mirror could help numerous individuals to become better people. Individuals would begin to realize that their appearance is not as important as their actions and would strive to be kinder and more respectful.
If I had this type of mirror, I would look into it every day and try to improve myself as a person. Seeing myself in the mirror for my good character would provide me with satisfaction.
