One morning I woke up and something strange happened. I could not hear anyone. My mom was talking, but I couldn’t hear anything. I felt scared and confused.
Then I went outside. Suddenly, I heard a small voice. It was our cat, Luna. She said, “Good morning! Finally, you can hear us.” I was shocked. I could understand animals! I thought it was a dream, but I know that it is real. Soon, I talked with many animals. Birds told me where they travel. Our dog told me when he feels lonely. Even ants told me how hard they work every day. It was funny, but I think people talking is much better than animals talking. At first, it was strange, but my life changed in a good way. I helped animals when they were hungry or hurt. I told people by writing to be kinder to them, even if I could not hear the people. Now I have many animal friends. I may not hear humans, but I understand nature better than ever. It is a special gift.
