A Day in Philippines

I imagine my day starting my day early, in a beachfront hut, a cozy little cottage right on the shoreline, where the sound of gentle waves wakes me open my door to find the sparkling turquoise waters just a few steps away. After enjoying my breakfast with fresh fruits, I would set off on a boat tour to El Nido’s islands and lagoons.

The Big Lagoon would be my first stop. Towering limestone cliffs surround its waters, creating an engaging scene. I’d spend hours kayaking through the lagoon, probably marveling at the clarity of the water and spotting different types of fish swimming below.

For lunch, I would go somewhere that has delicious seafood. Shrimps, crabs, and tropical fruits like papaya, and pineapples would be served there by the locals.

Afterward, I’d visit Nacpan Beach, feeling the warm, soft sand, and swimming in that sea would be soothing. I’d take a long walk by the shore after the swim or relax under the coconut trees.

As the afternoon fades, I’d make my way to the Iwahig River for a magical firefly-watching experience. Drifting quietly on a small boat, I’d watch countless fireflies light up the mangroves, creating a fascinating sparkling scene against the sky.

The calm river and nature would leave me in awe.

Someday, I hope to turn this dream into a reality and explore the paradise that is Palawan.
