They say “Let’s leave a livable world for future generations” as a famous slogan, but they don’t think about what that means. Most of us believe this slogan means that we shouldn’t waste water, we shouldn’t pollute our oceans, and so on. Of course, they are correct. We should protect our environment and avoid polluting it. But in my opinion, it doesn’t mean only that; we should consider a lot more than that. Let’s think: if we didn’t pollute and did everything to protect the environment, would everything be fine? No, it still wouldn’t be fine, there are other things we should worry about. These things are AI animals, technology, and even humans.
We should consider other things as well. Humans: we already kill other creatures; who knows what we could do to ourselves with technology, and others can kill us as well. AI: AI develops itself every single day. Who else on earth knows what it could do to us? A robot army or other electronic devices may even declare independence and start a war between humans. Technology it can develop and develop without our help and take control of the planet. And it can also consume our brains and make us dump. Animals can become very dangerous and pose a threat to humans.
In conclusion, the problem that we see isn’t the real problem. Actually, the real issues are those, and we should protect the next generation from them. If we want a livable planet, we should take precautions before it’s too late.
A LIVIBLE PLANET
