A MAGICAL DAY

On a day in 2062, a boy named Matteo woke up, ready to go to school. Every aspect of the day was going unusually perfectly. Matteo arrived at school, thinking it would be very boring as usual, but when he saw his best friend, a shock went up his body. He could read his best friend’s mind. At first, he didn’t think much about it and tried to keep everything to himself. But when it came to math class, he read his math teacher’s mind and noticed that she hated all of the students. After this boring and weird lesson, he spread the news. Once it was time to read everything out loud, he had no shame about telling everything that he read. After that eventful day at school, he thought it was all a dream. Matteo, trying to ”wake up” himself from this ”dream, ” went to sleep hoping NOT to wake up. Tomorrow came, and the mind-reading ability was still with him! But it could be heartbreaking to learn what your friends really think about you. Maybe you aren’t Jason’s friend. Perhaps you are a fake friend to everyone. He was grateful and still confused at the same time. His friends actually liked him. He was concerned about what was coming his way. None of the last, maybe his mind is tricking him…
