A RAINBOW OF EMOTIONS

When I wake up in my city, I don’t need to guess how people feel. In this place, every emotion has a color, and the colors float in the air around us. That morning, my room was glowing with soft yellow because I felt calm and happy. When I looked out the window, I saw pink clouds turning above the houses. Someone nearby must have been feeling excited.

On my way to school, the streets looked like a moving rainbow. A man rushing to work had bright orange sparks flickering around him. Two best friends walking together were surrounded by warm, shining gold. Near the park, I noticed a girl sitting alone on a bench. A pale blue mist circled her, showing she was sad. I wanted to cheer her up.

At lunch, our class started laughing at a silly joke, and suddenly bright green and yellow burst around our table like fireworks. By the time I was home, the sky was painted with every color imaginable. Living here feels magical, because you can truly see what’s in someone’s heart.
