I was watching a horror movie at home when darkness filled the sky. I was both absorbed in the movie and scared at the same time. Then I walked toward the pantry to grab a snack, but while I was walking down the hallway, I heard a creaking sound. I didn’t care much about it and went back to the cozy couch where I had been sitting a couple of minutes earlier.
After that, I heard an unexplainable noise and got really frightened this time. It came from my bedroom window, and I heard the same strange sound again. Startled by the noise coming from outside, I ran toward the window. I looked out but couldn’t see anything, so I put on my jacket and went outside. I searched everywhere, trying to find out where the sound had come from. I nearly gave up when I saw something moving in the bushes near my house. Then I realized it was a kitten. I felt sorry for it and took it home.
The next day, I brought my new pet to a vet clinic near a café next to my house. The vet told me that my new pet was healthy, and when I heard that, I was pleased. We went back home, and I named it Joy because it was so rambunctious and full of joy.
