It was a usual, boring Sunday. I ate my breakfast like always and then headed to the park for a nice walk with my grandma. We were walking just fine, and we even saw some cats on the sidewalk on our way there! Then, out of absolutely nowhere, the clouds opened up above me and I began to rise into the sky with a heavenly light surrounding me. I saw my grandma’s shocked expression before I disappeared into the clouds.
At first, I thought I was dead and that an angel was carrying me to heaven, but the truth was very different… it wasn’t an angel, and I definitely wasn’t in heaven. It was Arceus, the god of Pokémon, who had pulled me up! Arceus had brought me onto a giant cloud filled with all 1,025 Pokémon. I was in complete shock, but before I could ask Arceus what was happening, I spotted an Espeon in the distance.
I immediately ran toward Espeon and hugged it tightly. Espeon is my favorite Pokémon, and now I finally got to pet one! I went back to Arceus and asked if I could take Espeon home with me, and thankfully, he said yes. As I descended back down with Espeon in my arms, I realized it was now dark and my grandma was gone.
I started panicking because I can’t navigate in the dark. I took out my phone to use the flashlight or call my mom, but it was out of battery. I got even more worried, until I remembered that Espeon’s gem can glow in the dark. I gently tapped Espeon’s forehead, and the gem lit up like a real flashlight! Using Espeon’s gem to see the path, I managed to find my way back home.
My mom was ready to shout at me for being late, but her jaw dropped when she saw the extraordinary creature in my hands. After that day, I took care of Espeon like a pet — and she even got along quite well with my cat!
