It was a cold and rainy morning. I woke up late and looked at the clock. I only had ten minutes to catch the train. I put on my clothes quickly and ran out of the house without eating breakfast. My heart was beating fast. I was scared I would miss the train.
The streets were wet and slippery. I almost fell twice. I was racing against the seconds, wishing for a miracle at that very moment… I saw the train at the station. The doors were still open. I ran faster, using all my energy.
When I arrived, the train doors started to close. I shouted, “Please wait!” and the driver saw me. He smiled and opened the doors again. I got on the train, breathing hard but smiling.
It felt like a small miracle. If I had been two seconds later, I would have missed it. That train was very important to me because I had a big job interview in another city.
Sometimes, small things can feel magical. That morning showed me that we should never give up—miracles can happen when we really need them.
