A Town That Truly Works for Young People

Have you ever felt that there is nothing to do in town after school times or in weekend? Majority of young people in our community feel exactly the same. While our town has many beneficial qualities, there are several ways it could be improved to better meet the needs of teenagers.

To begin with, although most libraries in major cities are designed for students some only accept nurses’ students and do not admit high school students. this situation seems to treat high school students as if they aren’t students and do not have classes instead libraries could be opened that serve everyone providing spaces where people can socialise and study simultaneously.

Another area that needs improvement is public transport most of the teenagers depend on buses to travel to school and extracurricular activities. However, public transport is sometimes not budget friendly for students and sometimes unreliable. If public transport was more frequent and student discounts were introduced, young people would have a greater independence and more opportunities to participate in community life.

In conclusion, by creating better facilities which students can benefit from them, and improving public transportation our town could become a place where teenagers feel supported and valued.
