It was finally Christmas night. I had been waiting a whole year for this special day. Everything was planned: all of our relatives were going to visit us, we were going to have a delicious dinner, and we were going to have so much fun! But there was a problem: it hadn’t started snowing yet, and time was passing. The only thing I wanted from Santa was a snowy Christmas night; therefore, I would have been really upset if I hadn’t been able to see those beautiful snow crystals.
While we were waiting for our guests, I started to overthink. Maybe I wasn’t on Santa’s nice list. I was getting more and more upset when suddenly the doorbell rang. I rushed to the door and hugged my granddad, whom I loved so much. After that, all of our guests arrived, and we sat at our large dining table. It was such a joy to see all of our loved ones together, but something was still missing: the snow.
I gave up hope and tried to forget about it, but I couldn’t. I was so upset that I didn’t even want to eat or open presents. Suddenly, we all saw a strange light, and everything changed the moment it came through the window. We couldn’t even open our eyes because the light was so bright! When it finally started to fade, we rushed outside, and we couldn’t believe our eyes—it was a miracle! Everywhere was covered with Christmas decorations: there were fairy lights on top of the houses, candles near the doors, Santa’s sleigh with reindeer, and the most special thing for me—there was snow everywhere!
People left their houses to see what had happened, and everyone was amazed by this beautiful scene. We went back into the house in disbelief, discussing how something like this could have happened. Later that night, before I fell asleep, I thanked Santa for this incredible Christmas, even though I didn’t know how it had happened.
