A World Without Feelings

One morning, people woke up, but something was different than other days. People stop to feel nothing for each other. They literally woke up without emotional bonds. Families, friends, and even couples didn’t care about them anymore. For them, their child, couple, family is just an ordinary stranger.

For example, in one of the houses, a mother didn’t care if their child woke up and got ready for school. The child’s father didn’t even care if their child went to school. In the school, there is no rowdy place, no one was talking. Every single child had a fed up face. They don’t have any enthusiasm, and desire about learning. Teacher doesn’t care about students’ grades, if it is low or high. After the teacher starts a new topic, the teacher doesn’t even care if students understand the topic.

At work time people only did their jobs.  Their colleagues didn’t help each other. Meetings were having short period of time, only formal and emotionless words. People weren’t different than robots. Some of the jobs will dissappear beacuse of ignoring other people just like firefighters. Why would they risk their life if they ignore other people.

In the streets, nobody smiled or greeted each other. In cafes, couples and friends sat quietly, eating without talking. Parks were quiet, with no children playing or families spending time together. After a while, people got rid of their firneds and couples. They stayed with their families only for eating and not to live in the streets. Except for that, families weren’t talking about something.

Without emotions, people stopped caring about others. Parents ignored crying children. Neighbors didn’t help each other. Charities and acts of kindness disappeared because nobody felt love or empathy. Nobody started to donate again.

By the end of the day, the world felt lonely place. Homes were dark and quiet, and people stayed alone. Life became boring and empty.

This day showed how important emotions are. Without love, kindness, the world was a lonely and an empty place.
