The AI conference in Japan is really impressive and a little overwhelming. The building is huge and shiny, and it is located near Tokyo Bay. When I walk inside, the air feels just right, as if the building knows how many people are there. Everyone is calm, not loud like at normal conventions. I can hear people speaking different languages, but my earpiece translates everything, so I can understand them.
In the middle of the room, there is a digital Zen garden made of moving lights instead of sand. People stop to watch it and relax. Robots walk around offering cups of real matcha tea and bow politely. Some AIs are even attending the conference, appearing as holograms or on screens, and people treat them like guests.
During one talk, humans and an AI discuss how responsibility should be shared in the future. Outside, I can see Mount Fuji, and glowing lanterns float over the water, carrying questions about what lies ahead.
