I think everyone knows how teachers play a significant role in the construction of society. However, when do we actually show our appreciation to them except for Teachers’ Day? Do the teachers deserve more than that?
First of all, Teachers’ “Day” is not enough for all the teachers around the world. Teachers keep spending their precious time for teaching us, the students, all of their lives. Some people say, “But they make money.”,” They could have chosen a different job.” But they didn’t. That is the most important thing about teachers’ effort for us. Again, but they didn’t.
Moreover, instead of working on a less tiring job with more money involved, they chose a path to sacrifice their time and effort for the next generations. People definitely shouldn’t underestimate a teacher’s responsibilities. I heard some people say: “Teachers have multiple holidays that other jobs don’t have so that makes teaching more comfortable.” They are maybe right about the holidays but this perspective tells us that teachers don’t work super hard for the next semester.
In conclusion, all of the teachers around the world deserve more than just a day for their effort and sacrifices. In addition, people shouldn’t underestimate the teachers’ work and responsibilities.
