Biggest Acomplishment Ever

Hi, my name is Maya, and I own a bird named Elvis. She’s a really cute bird, and lots of my friends adore her. One day, when my parents brought her to school, a teacher’s friend saw us. She immediately came over and told me how cute my bird was. I thanked her, but then I learned the reason for her interest: it was because of a talent show. I gave her my number, and a few days passed without any response.

Finally, after a week, we got an invitation to participate. Things were going well, but the school situation wasn’t the same. A girl named Isabella started teasing me and even adopted a bird, literally copying me. I tried not to worry about her, or at least I thought I didn’t. But you can’t imagine how frustrated I was when one of my teachers told me Isabella was also joining the same competition my bird and I were in.

Competition day finally came. It was Isabella’s turn first. She made her bird sing and do some cool tricks, but it wasn’t enough to impress the judges. Then, a few turns later, it was our time to shine. Elvis performed the tricks I taught her. She was amazing. During her performance, I also asked her some really easy math questions, like “What’s 2 plus 2?”

The judges announced the winners, and guess what? We got second place! Considering how many competitors there were, second place is not bad at all! Isabella wasn’t even on the leaderboard.

The moral of the story is to never give up on your dreams, no matter what people say.
