What do you think will carry a country into the future?
The answer is children’s rights I think and most of people thinks.Because children are the key to the future because they will grow up to lead and improve the world. With good education and opportunities, they can create a better future.
Many agreements have been made to protect children’s rights .Most important one is Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) – United Nations (1989).This agreement includes :
The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) – United Nations (1989) is a key agreement to protect children’s rights. It has 54 rules, divided into four main areas:
- No Discrimination (Article 2):Children should be treated fairly, no matter their race, gender, language, religion, or differences.
- Right to Life and Growth (Article 6):Every child has the right to grow up healthy and safe.
- Right to Speak (Article 12):Children can share their thoughts about things that affect them.
- Right to Education (Article 28): Every child has the right to go to school.
- Right to Health (Article 24): Children should get healthcare and live healthy lives.
- Protection from Abuse (Article 19): Children should be safe from any kind of harm, like physical or emotional .
- Right to Live with Family (Article 9): Children should live with their family when possible.
- No Child Labor (Article 32):Children should not have to do dangerous work.

But unfortunately so many children dont have access their rights. There are many reasons for this inaccessibility:
1.Education: Children from poor families often can’t access good education.
2.Health:Many children don’t have good health care .
3.Child Labor: Children are forced to work in dangerous jobs, missing out on education and their rights.
4.Violence and Abuse:Children, especially in war zones or as refugees, face physical and emotional harm.
5.Migration and War: Children in dangerous areas causes trauma and lose their basic rights.
6.Domestic Violence: Children can be hurt by violence at home.
We can all help to prevent these inaccessibilities like asking them what they want to learn in school or how they feel about things happening at home.It isn’t hard things and every step can create awareness. At the same time, children’s rights are defended by many non-governmental organisations, the best known of which is UNICEF. UNICEF is an organisation founded in 1946 that focuses on the health, education and development of children worldwide. It provides quick emergency aid and defends children’s rights.
Children are the most important investment in the future if we give good opportunities they will give us to better future.
