If I were to create a city out of my memories, what would it look like? For 16 years, I have collected a lot of memories with my family and friends. I have met many people and I have good and bad memories with almost all of them. Although I think it is the people that make the memories special, not the place, I will introduce you to this city that has a piece of me in every corner.
First of all, it is not a very big and complicated city. Since I like to spend time with people I am closer to and make memories, not everyone can enter this city that easily. They have to go through a lot of security measures. It’s a place where there is no noise, no traffic, everyone lives quietly and gets along well with each other. If we talk about the architecture of the city, there has to be at least one park on every street and flowers of different colors in this park. Buildings can have a maximum of 3 floors and the use of dark colors is forbidden on the outside. On each building there is an impression from the memories I have stored since I was little. All the streets in the city lead to the same square and in this square there is a huge park called Nil and restaurants around it where people can socialize. Since it is not a very big city, there are 3 schools and students can get everywhere by bicycle or on foot. It is a city where there is very little use of cars and it is also a sustainable city and recycling is very important.
Finally, I would like to talk about a few areas that are special to me in this city. The first point is my own home. The house that I have been in since I was little, every moment of growing up and most of my moments with my family. The second one is hotels by the sea. The hotels I used to wait all winter long as a child for summer to come and for me to be able to go there. The third is my neighborhood. Especially after I grew up a bit, my neighborhood where my friends and I used to meet and spend time every week. Of course, the parks and places around my house also have unforgettable memories for me. The fourth and last place is schools. In fact, even though I don’t like to go there, it is the place where I have the most precious memories. It’s a place where I can make friends and improve myself. This is my city. It is a city that carries a piece of me everywhere and is very precious to me. What would it be like if you were to design a city from your memories?
