I suppose that every parent at least once talked to their child/children about reading books. Then the children usually complain about it which results in an admonishment. As their peer, I think 70% of teenagers don’t really care about books. But little do they know that actually books have plenty of pros and almost zero cons. Unfortunately at the moment we will only talk about the benefits of it to our frame of mind. In other words, our “perspective”.
There are lots of categories for books: biography, sci-fi, story, historical, fairytale and more. You can choose any category you want that fits in your interest and find tons of books. In historical books you can have an idea about your own or the other countries’ history. In biography books you can learn about other people’s lives. You may ask now “Well what is the connection of the fields of books and perspective?” If you have an interest towards a specific category then you might want to widen your perspective in that one. That is because you would get bored on a zone that doesn’t have any relation with you. Now the most important part has come. Reading books benefit enlarging your perspective because you get more information about that topic! It’s this basic. You can look from different viewpoints and due to this it enlarges your thinking style.
Starting with 10 pages, you can slowly increase your amount. If the book is captivating this number will rise without your control. The more you read the more you get used to it. And also your perspective on life is so important in any moment of your life-time. In your work, your school or even in you chats you will be seen as an intellectual person. Turn this to your habit and trust me, you will get the benefits pretty soon.
