FARMLANDS OR UNDERGROUND RESOURCES?

Resources play a crucial role in a country’s economy, and throughout history, nations have fought one another for them.

But what is more important: having more efficient farmlands or having rich underground resources? Underground resources are essential because the world’s economy heavily relies on fossil fuels and underground riches. However, these resources are limited, which poses a significant problem. If a country becomes too dependent on them, its economy could struggle in the future. On the other hand, farmlands provide resources in proportion to what is planted, and they are virtually unlimited. Farming is fundamental to the economy, and if farmlands are more efficient, they can uplift the economy more than any underground resources could because farming is sustainable. While underground resources may bring more profit in the short term, they will be exhausted within a few years. Furthermore, in some scenarios, other nations may require more food than underground resources. In such cases, crops would play a crucial role and, undoubtedly, be more important.

In conclusion, for the reasons outlined above, I would rather have more efficient farmlands than more underground resources. Sustainable resources are always more profitable.
