Global migration has been one of the most serious issues that is ongoing on earth. Most of the countries take action about these movements but some of them don’t even worry about it.
Global migration occurs from several things. Uncontrollable growth of the population, wars, lack of facilities or even work opportunities. People don’t want to suffer the negative aspects of these problems so they choose to move to another place. However, some countries doesn’t like this movement because of some obvious reasons: Safety, cultural changes, population problems and slums. They try to take control of this incident by strengthening their border controls, increasing the police actions and sometimes even not letting people inside their territory. Then, as a matter of fact, the migrants try some dangerous methods such as using tiny boats to trespass the border without the notice of the forces or breaking the walls that cut through the borders. Indeed, that’s the main reason we see people getting lost or even die on the news. Migrants don’t even care about the potential of death just for a “better” life.
On the other hand, there are some governments that don’t really care about it, too. Additionally, they even support these migrations! Because their economical structure is bad, they give some jobs to these migrants and they help the sustainability of the circulation. Some countries even abandon the need of passports to enter their country, just for this situation.
Also, another reason why some countries allow this movement is because they have low population and need more people to support their economy. Migrants can work in farms, factories or as caretakers. This helps the country grow in population and money at the same time. Even some small businesses start to grow faster when migrants join the workforce.
So, while some countries try to stop migration for their own reasons, others actually need it. Global migration can be both a danger and a benefit depending on how the countries react to it and what kind of problems or needs they have.
